Why Electric Deep Fryer's Are Great For Small Families: My family wasn't very large you could say, but we did meet the 2.5 children status in a way. There was my mother and father, my brother, and then my uncle who due to a mental disability was more of a child than an adult. We all loved my mother's cooking, and one thing I fondly remember is my mother using her electric deep fryer. My mother adored her electric deep fryer. As kids we would gather together and make American Indian flat-bread, which is a dough you roll out, place a small hole in the center, and then fry. Mom would always be in charge of the electric deep fryer, but the aroma these decadent treats would make was heavenly Another family favorite was what we called quick and easy donuts. Mom would heat up the oil in her electric deep fryer while we opened a can of biscuits. We would separate them, and then using a tool mom had, we would cut out a perfect hole in the center. Mom would then fry these up for us while we watched. They always reminded me of little life rafts puffing up with air while swimming in the oil of the electric deep fryer. Once finished, Mom would pat them dry on paper towels, and then using butter cream frosting she handmade we would frost our donuts. For the donut holes, Mom would roll these in cinnamon-sugar fresh from the electric deep fryer. These treats, especially good in the summer, will always remain with me, and I hope to pass them on to my own children someday. Now why would I speak of my own family's use of the electric deep fryer? I did so to show you how owning one can make a family closer by involving the kids with the adults in an enjoyable pastime. Please also don't think there is only flat-bread and donuts you can do. No, with an electric deep fryer you can also make other kids favorites like soft pretzels, corn dogs, fried chicken and even the classic fairground favorite: funnel cake! Wouldn't it be worth it to get more time with the family nowadays when in our time kids want to spend so much of their time on the Internet, playing games on their video game consoles, or even watching hours of TV? I recommend an electric deep fryer highly as a possible solution – but also know that nutritious foods can also be prepared. For instance, use the corn dog batter to dip vegetables in and fry them up in your electric deep fryer. Some great vegetables to fry up are cauliflower, slices of bell pepper, sliced zucchini – and even pickles! And who doesn't like pizza? Roll pizza dough with sauce, a little pit of cheese and some diced pepperoni to make your own pizza rolls! In no time you and your new electric deep fryer will be the talk of your kids and their friends. |
